Past Land Surveying Projects
Since our establishment in 2012, Adam Schmeing Land Surveying has handled a wide array of land surveying projects in Knoxville, TN, and the surrounding areas. Check out our past projects today and discover the precision and accuracy that we can deliver for your surveying needs.
Conceptual Subdivision Plan
We created a conceptual subdivision plan drawing that showed the client a potential subdivision layout with the desired house plans while maximizing their return on the investment. By using the latest innovations in GIS technology, the conceptual plan was developed at a low cost to the client.
Boundary Survey
Our land surveying company was commissioned to conduct this boundary survey by a client looking to purchase the property. The client was concerned with the boundary location in relation to the driveway. At the conclusion of this survey, it was revealed that the driveway was not built over the boundary line as shown on the local GIS map. The boundary survey also revealed that the land was encroached upon by the second subdivision unit to the northwest.
Cemetery Survey
This land surveying project involved the re-subdivision of a public cemetery dating back to the mid-1800s. Due to the age and nature of the property, the project required a significant amount of courthouse research to properly evaluate the records and support the survey work.
Knox County Plat
We completed this Knox County plat for a single lot subdivision. The City of Knoxville required the plat so that a building permit could be issued.
Aerial Drone Survey
Our land surveying company completed this aerial drone survey in East Knoxville. The project produced this image of a point cloud that was captured in just a 20-minute flight.
Mortgage Inspection
We completed mortgage inspections for the benefit of a mortgage company. This project showed the improvements on a property in relation to the boundary line. However, it is important to note that these mortgage inspections are not boundary surveys and do not result in the determination of the final location of the boundaries. These inspections are also of little use to the homeowner.
